The FRIENDS for Life Program

Developed in Australia by Professor Paula Barrett, FRIENDS for Life has been developed for children 8 to 12 years old. FRIENDS is the only anxiety prevention program acknowledged by the World Health Organisation for its 15 years of comprehensive evaluation and practice.

The FRIENDS program teaches children and family cognitive, emotional and behavioural skills for managing feelings and coping with life’s challenges with a positive and resilient attitude.

FRIENDS promotes important personal development concepts including:
